Pets of Port A Relief Fund for Port Aransas Animal Clinic.
donate or share the word and let's help them meet their goal so they can continue to help those who need it!
This is their story from their GoFundMe page that can be found here: https://www.gofundme.com/pets-of-port-a-relief-fund
"This Funding project by Island Animal Clinic of Port Aransas is meant to help the Pets and the People of Port Aransas. The proceeds will be used to provide FREE medical attention and medication by Island Animal Clinic to the Pets of Port Aranasas as an aid to the reestablishment of the community. It is meant to help the Lost and the Loved, the Homeless and the Hopeless, the Rescued and the Reunited. The devastation and destruction that Hurricane Harvey left in its wake is unimaginable and it will take years to restore but we all have to help and we have to start now. Please give whatever you can so we can help the animals and their people. Many have lost everything and the only thing they have left is their pet. We have the opportunity to help both the People and the Pets of Port Aransas so please give and be a part of this effort.
Update : I am a veterinarian, Dr Bill McGehee and operate veterinary clinics in both Port Aransas & San Antonio. Before even starting this gofundme we had begun helping people and the pets of Port Aransas most affected by hurricane Harvey by giving them free medications, food and medical care. Follow our efforts and see the faces of the people we are helping on our Facebook at "Island Animal Clinic of Port Aransas" and on YouTube " Pot Aransas vet clinic treating animals after Harvey "
Thank you for all your support."
This was their latest update a few months back, but they still need more help:
"Thank You to all of you that have donated. We have been able to help people and their pets on a daily basis. We are helping those in all stages of loss. Some have lost their home, their belongings, their car and perhaps even their job. The job that was supposed to help get them back on their feet. We have been able to give their pets food, beds, toys, medicines and caring kindness. One less thing for the people of Port Aransas to worry about as the City struggles to revive itself. Thank you for being part of this effort."
Again here is their GoFundMe page, Please feel free to go there and donate or just share with friends!
